Ali Le Count

Ali’s first foray into Search was in1996 when she joined the FS practice of Goddard Kay Rogers (GKR), She stayed there for six years – the last two following GKR’s merger with Whitehead Mann – before leaving to join the Life Science Practice at Korn/Ferry, moving into Search-to-Search in 2004.

Since then, and in her typical practical and personal style, she’s placed top people into top-tier Search firms at all levels and in all sectors, on both a retained and contingency basis. She works with both the SHREK firms and the smaller specialist boutiques, as well as placing individuals in-house. In short, she’s got your people covered.

When Ali isn’t working or running around after kids, she loves nothing better than smashing a ball on a squash court, planning the next holiday or trying to perfect her veggie patch.

Cat Rowlands

Cat started her career as a legal translator for Clifford Chance in Barcelona, moving into Search in 1996 with GKRS (acquired by Whitehead Mann). She then moved with the Managing Partner to establish Ridgeway Partners.  Having enjoyed the ‘start up’ process, Cat left Search to manage the start-up of an entrepreneurial engineering firm where she was Chief of Staff before moving to a Family Office, where she established an investment management office for the Principal, as well as managing his domestic staff of thirty in three countries.  

Cat joined Le Count Associates
in early 2020, having worked with the Founder in her very first Search role
over 20 years ago. 

Cat has a degree in Hispanic Studies
from Bristol University, speaks fluent Spanish, is a personal trainer and an
open-water swimmer.

Andrew Pieterse

Andrew started his career in Cape Town managing datacentres and large scale telecoms networks. He moved to the UK in 2004, where he then worked for several large corporates including BT and Vodafone.

In 2008 he took a career break and went to Cranfield to do an MBA, after which he spent some time consulting on £multi-Billion corporate change portfolios. However, his realisation that people are (still) the essence of every business led him to co-found Le Count Associates.

Recently, he has been focussing on personal and professional development and completed an MSc in Coaching from Henley Business School. He now works as an EMCC certified executive coach and BACP registered psychotherapist.

Currently he is a doctoral candidate at the University of Exeter, extending his training into post-Jungian psychoanalysis.

Alexander Gordon

Alexander began his recruitment career at Robert Half in 2005, then moved into executive search with Norman Broadbent in 2007. Over the next two decades he held roles at firms including Odgers and Renaissance, handling board, commercial and functional appointments across a wide range of sectors: Financial Services, Consumer, Sports, Media, Gaming, Not for Profit and Technology.

In 2025 he moved to a portfolio career, working closely with a small number of clients in the human capital space, including Le Count Associates.

 Alexander holds a degree in Business Studies. Away from work, he's happiest on long walks with his Dachshund, visiting theme parks around the world with his wife, or driving cars across Europe.
